The beautiful flowers were designed and created by the talented Linda of LV Floral Events.
The Oneonta Congregational Church was no ordinary church. Jennifer’s parents got married in the very same church. How cool and significant was that!
From the photographers, Vanessa & Kenny of Phan Photography:
This was one of those weddings we took to heart. Jennifer and Danny are close and dear friends of ours and we couldn’t ask for more than to be a part of their special day. It was extra special because we were also close to Danny’s family, and we basically shared the same groups of friends. It was definitely a special gathering of families and friends, and it almost felt like a high school reunion with all the friends that we haven’t seen for years. Jennifer and Danny are one of those rare and special couples. They are truly passionate, thoughtful and caring people who are respected and admired by many of their peers and families. They are disciplined, loyal, full of energy and life. If you ever need someone to motivate you, these two are the ones.
This wedding definitely had all the pieces to tell a great story for years to come. Love. Emotion. Laughter. Fun. Surprises. Excitement. Tears. We can go on and on…One of the biggest memorable moments of the wedding was a special guest appearance by 10+ Star Wars characters. If you already know Danny, then you know he’s probably one of the biggest Star Wars fans out there. A very devoted one. This special appearance was thoughtfully planned out by Jennifer (and yes we were one of the many that already knew in advance). A simple gesture that defined what kind of love she had for Danny. You’ll see in these photos how surprised and happy Danny was when he walked into the banquet and there awaits 10+ Star Wars characters!
My husband is a star wars fanatic. While we planned our wedding we joked about having a star wars cake, having a light saber entrance, and having a yoda officiant. We did none of that and had a normal lovely wedding. I absolutely loved it. But now that I see this wedding, it makes me regret (just a bit) that we should have just been ourselves and showed off who we really were. You don't have to make a circus out of your wedding, just have some special personal touches! This is an awesome wedding. Thanks for sharing!!
