From the photographer, Amanda Doublin:
Tiffany & Nguyen had a traditional vietnamese wedding. What a treat! Rich with culture and tradition, this was a first for me. we started at the the bride's family's house where wynn's family came with gifts and a tea ceremony was held. It was so sweet to watch tiffany get emotional as her sister spoke to her and gave her a gift.
We then headed to the groom's family's house for another tea ceremony.
The reception was held at Prince Seafood. Congratulations to Tiffany and Nguyen!
this bride has a very pretty smile
ReplyDeleteWOW! this looks like such a fun wedding to attend
ReplyDeletei love the picture of them smiling under the pier. that is true LOVE!!!
ReplyDeletei know the pig is a cultural thing, but it's so freaky!!
ReplyDeletelol. The pig is one of those cultural things that's totally normal to one culture, and absolutely beyond weird to the other culture. Asian foods are almost always served as whole animals in weddings because it means "completeness" or "having a head and tail," which is an idiom for starting and finishing.
