The New Hanbok: Western Inspired Asian Wedding Dress

We are swooning over these gorgeous Hanbok dresses that we found in My Weddings Magazine. The hanbok is the traditional Korean dress worn by both men, women, and children of all ages. The special hanboks that are worn for Korean weddings traditionally have the shiniest fabrics and the brightest colors to represent the family's wealth and class. But these ones we're about to show you aren't your typical wedding hanboks. We love these modernized gowns that are more light and ethereal using wistful whites and soft pastels. They are so light and airy, wearing one will make you want to stop time in the middle of your wedding day and soak in all the wedded bliss.  This dress is oh... so... lovely.

Eunice & Bryan: Beautiful Korean Wedding in the Fall

Summer's just begun, but I'm already warming up to the beautiful fall colors of this wedding shared by Southern California photographer Trista Lerit. Eunice & Bryan had a gorgeous fall wedding at the Center Club in Costa Mesa.  We are just savoring over the scrumptious color palette of emerald, crimson, and burnt orange.  The rich harvest of flowers are dripping with shiny strings of crystals that add to the autumn allure.

As part of this warm initimate wedding, Eunice & Bryan celebrate with Korean wedding traditions. Members of the family give some words of wisdom and then throw fruits and dates into a cloth...however many Eunice & Bryan catch will determine their number of children. Looks like they are having lots of children!

From the photographer, Trista Lerit:

Eunice & Bryan are two of the sweetest people... loving, funny, and easygoing are just a few of their shared qualities! They had their wedding at the Center Club in Costa Mesa. It was an intimate gathering which is exactly what they wanted..to be surrounded by the people closest to them. They are both extremely close to their families and it was so special to see the love surrounding all of them that day!

Eunice & Bryan... you two were made for each other! Keep smiling and making each other laugh... that will be the glue that holds your marriage together!

Patricia & Richard: Stylish Wedding in Wine Country

Happy Friday!  We're ecstatic to show off this beautiful Korean-Chinese wedding from photojournalist, Tyler Vu from the Bay Area.  Tyler has truly brought Patricia & Richard's wedding to life on our screens by showing so much depth, so much drama in all of these photos.  Tyler has one ambitious goal and that is to capture every possible tradition and celebration which his clients will cherish for years to come and cement their legacy. Well, Tyler... I think it's safe to say, you've knocked this one out of the park!  This wedding is amazing.

The beautiful bride, Patricia, is a graphic designer and infused her fabulous sense of design in every element of this sophisticated stylish wedding at Casa Real Winery.

Belinda & Peter: Elegant Ocean View Korean Wedding

I just adore this classic elegant wedding from Stephanie Williams Photography. Belinda and Peter have a traditional Western wedding at La Venta in Palos Verdes. With that breathtaking ocean view setting, you won't need to do much to make a beautiful wedding.  Belinda makes classic elegance look so easy with just a flower in her hair and a string of pearls around her neck. Simply perfect.  The couple also share a glimpse of their beautiful culture by also having a dual Chinese and Korean tea ceremony while wearing traditional colorful hanbok clothing.
